Garage sales approaching - iGarageSale promo codes available Friday!

The Seward two-day garage sale event is almost here! Sellers, please post your sale at CraigsList and follow the guidelines from my last post to help in identifying your sale in iGarageSale. Buyers, I'm going to be at Seward Co-op on Friday morning about 8:15 in the deli table area. I will have a dozen or so promo codes for a free copy of iGarageSale. (You do need an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to use iGarageSale.) The codes will be free (first-come, first-served) but we will ask you to consider donating to SNG to help us in defraying the costs of organizing the garage sales. Of course, if you already own iGarageSale, your ready to go. Search for sewardgs that weekend to find local sales and also stay tuned to our SewardTweets twitter account for any updates. (You should also search without the sewardgs keyword as some Seward sales at CraigsList probably won't have it.) As an alternative way to donate, drop by our SNG Give.MN site and give online. When you come in for your promo code, just let me know you gave online.

Come by the Seward School Peace Garden (on the 2200 block of 28th Ave) for cookies, brownies, cupcakes, tea, lemonade and more, 9 am to 3 pm during the Garage Sale Days (we're on the garage sale map). Buy a treat and support the garden! There will be vegan and gluten-free options. If you come on Saturday between 10am and 1pm, you can also enjoy a short tour of the garden led by students.
